 Lesson 2: Using R and RStudio. This lecture was given at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia on 5 September 2013. Lesson 2 describes how to begin using the R Programming Language and RStudio to address the first assignment in the course. The first assignment involves using descriptive statistics with a data set.

 The textbook used for this course is: Statistical Methods for the Social Sciences (4th Edition), by Alan Agresti and Barbara Finlay, although the course can be used with any relevant textbook.
