71. [It is] good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
Psalms 119장
57. CHETH. [Thou art] my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.
(헤트) 오 {주}여, 주는 나의 몫이오니 내가 주의 말씀들을 지키리라 말하였나이다.
58. I intreated thy favour with [my] whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.
내가 온 마음으로 주의 은총을 간구하였사오니 주의 말씀에 따라 내게 긍휼을 베푸소서.
59. I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
내가 나의 길들을 생각하고 주의 증언들을 향해 내 발을 돌렸사오며
60. I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
신속히 움직여 주의 명령들을 지키려고 지체하지 아니하였나이다.
61. The bands of the wicked have robbed me: [but] I have not forgotten thy law.
사악한 자들의 무리가 나를 강탈하였을지라도 내가 주의 법을 잊지 아니하였나이다.
62. At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.
내가 주의 의로운 판단들로 인하여 한밤중에 일어나 주께 감사를 드리리이다.
63. I [am] a companion of all [them] that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
나는 주를 두려워하는 모든 자들과 주의 훈계들을 지키는 자들의 벗이니이다.
64. The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.
오 {주}여, 주의 긍휼이 땅에 충만하오니 주의 법규들을 내게 가르치소서.
65. TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.
(테트) 오 {주}여, 주의 말씀에 따라 주께서 주의 종을 선대하셨나이다.
66. Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
내가 주의 명령들을 믿었사오니 선한 판단과 지식을 내게 가르치소서.
67. Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
고난 당하기 전에는 내가 길을 잃었사오나 이제는 주의 말씀을 지키고 있나이다.
68. Thou [art] good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
주는 선하시며 선을 행하시오니 주의 법규들을 내게 가르치소서.
69. The proud have forged a lie against me: [but] I will keep thy precepts with [my] whole heart.
교만한 자들이 거짓말을 꾸며 나를 치려 하였사오나 나는 내 온 마음으로 주의 훈계들을 지키리이다.
70. Their heart is as fat as grease; [but] I delight in thy law.
그들의 마음은 기름덩이 같이 기름지나 나는 주의 법을 기뻐하나이다.
71. [It is] good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
고난 당한 것이 내게 유익하오니 이로써 내가 주의 법규들을 배우게 되었나이다.
72. The law of thy mouth [is] better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
주의 입의 법이 내게는 천천의 금은보다 좋으니이다.
73. JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
(요드) 주의 손이 나를 만들고 나를 형성하셨사오니 내게 명철을 주사 내가 주의 명령들을 배우게 하소서.
74. They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.
주를 두려워하는 자들이 나를 볼 때에 즐거워하리니 나는 주의 말씀에 소망을 두었나이다.
75. I know, O LORD, that thy judgments [are] right, and [that] thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
오 {주}여, 내가 알거니와 주의 판단들은 바르오며 또 주께서 신실하신 가운데 나를 괴롭게 하셨나이다.
76. Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.
주께 간구하오니 주의 종에게 하신 주의 말씀에 따라 긍휼이 풍성한 주의 친절이 나의 위로가 되게 하시며
77. Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law [is] my delight.
주의 친절한 긍휼이 내게 임하게 하사 내가 살게 하소서. 주의 법은 나의 기쁨이니이다.
78. Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: [but] I will meditate in thy precepts.
교만한 자들이 까닭 없이 나를 학대하였사오니 그들이 부끄러움을 당하게 하소서. 오직 나는 주의 훈계들을 묵상하리이다.
79. Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.
주를 두려워하는 자들과 주의 증언들을 안 자들이 내게로 돌아오게 하소서.
80. Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.
내 마음을 주의 법규들 안에서 건전하게 하사 내가 부끄러움을 당하지 않게 하소서.
81. CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: [but] I hope in thy word.
(카프) 내 혼이 주의 구원을 바라며 기진하오나 나는 주의 말씀에 소망을 두나이다.
82. Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
내 눈이 주의 말씀을 바라며 쇠약하여 이르기를, 주께서 언제나 나를 위로하실까? 하나이다.
83. For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; [yet] do I not forget thy statutes.
내가 연기 속의 가죽 부대같이 되었나이다. 하오나 내가 여전히 주의 법규들을 잊지 아니하나이다.
84. How many [are] the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
주의 종의 날들이 몇 날이니이까? 나를 핍박하는 자들에게 주께서 어느 때에 심판을 집행하시리이까?
85. The proud have digged pits for me, which [are] not after thy law.
주의 법을 따르지 아니하는 교만한 자들이 나를 잡으려고 구덩이를 팠나이다.
86. All thy commandments [are] faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.
주의 모든 명령은 신실하니이다. 그들이 부당하게 나를 핍박하오니 주는 나를 도우소서.
87. They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
그들이 나를 땅에서 거의 소멸시켰사오나 나는 주의 훈계들을 버리지 아니하였사오니
88. Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.
주의 인자하심에 따라 나를 살리소서. 그리하시면 내가 주의 입의 증언을 지키리이다.
89. LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
(라메드) 오 {주}여, 주의 말씀은 영원히 하늘에 정착되었사오며
90. Thy faithfulness [is] unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
주의 신실하심은 모든 세대에 이르나이다. 주께서 땅을 굳게 세우셨으므로 땅이 항상 있나이다.
91. They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all [are] thy servants.
그것들이 주의 규례들에 따라 이 날까지 지속되나니 이는 모든 것이 주의 종이기 때문이니이다.
92. Unless thy law [had been] my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
주의 법이 나의 기쁨이 되지 아니하였더라면 내가 나의 고난 중에 멸망하였으리이다.
93. I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
내가 결코 주의 훈계들을 잊지 아니하리니 주께서 그것들로 나를 살리셨나이다.
94. I [am] thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
나는 주의 것이오니 나를 구원하소서. 내가 주의 훈계들을 구하였나이다.
95. The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: [but] I will consider thy testimonies.
사악한 자들이 나를 멸하려고 기다렸사오나 나는 주의 증언들을 깊이 생각하리이다.
96. I have seen an end of all perfection: [but] thy commandment [is] exceeding broad.
내가 모든 완전한 것들의 마지막을 보았사오나 주의 명령은 심히 넓으니이다.
97. MEM. O how love I thy law! it [is] my meditation all the day.
(멤) 오 내가 주의 법을 얼마나 사랑하는지요! 그 법이 종일토록 나의 묵상이 되나이다.
98. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they [are] ever with me.
주의 명령들이 항상 나와 함께하므로 주께서 그것들을 통해 나를 내 원수들보다 지혜롭게 하셨나이다.
99. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies [are] my meditation.
주의 증언들이 나의 묵상이 되므로 나의 모든 스승보다 내게 더 많은 명철이 있으며
100. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
내가 주의 훈계들을 지키므로 노인들보다 잘 깨닫나이다.
101. I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
내가 주의 말씀을 지키려고 내 발을 삼가 모든 악한 길에서 떠나게 하였사오며
102. I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
주께서 나를 가르치셨으므로 내가 주의 판단들에서 떠나지 아니하였나이다.
103. How sweet are thy words unto my taste! [yea, sweeter] than honey to my mouth!
주의 말씀들이 내 입맛에 어찌 그리 단지요! 참으로 내 입에 꿀보다 더 다니이다!
104. Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
주의 훈계들을 통해 내가 명철을 얻으므로 모든 거짓된 길을 미워하나이다.
105. NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
(눈) 주의 말씀은 내 발에 등불이요, 내 길에 빛이니이다.
106. I have sworn, and I will perform [it], that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
내가 주의 의로운 판단들을 지키리라 맹세하였사오니 내가 그것을 이행하리이다.
107. I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.
내가 심히 고난을 당하오니, 오 {주}여, 주의 말씀에 따라 나를 살리소서.
108. Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.
오 {주}여, 주께 간청하오니 내 입의 자원 헌물들을 받으시고 주의 판단들을 내게 가르치소서.
109. My soul [is] continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.
내 혼이 항상 내 손 안에 있사오나 나는 여전히 주의 법을 잊지 아니하나이다.
110. The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
사악한 자들이 나를 잡으려고 올무를 놓았으나 나는 여전히 주의 훈계들에서 벗어나 잘못하지 아니하였나이다.
111. Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they [are] the rejoicing of my heart.
내가 주의 증언들을 영원히 유산으로 삼았사오니 그것들은 내 마음의 기쁨이니이다.
112. I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, [even unto] the end.
내가 주의 법규들을 항상 이행하되 끝까지 이행하려고 내 마음을 기울였나이다.
