[다번역성경찬송]
Job 10장
1. My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
내 혼이 살기에 지쳤으니 내 원통함을 내 위에 두고 내 혼이 괴로운 가운데 말하리라.
2. I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; shew me wherefore thou contendest with me.
내가 [하나님]께 아뢰며, 나를 정죄하지 마소서, 하리라. 어찌하여 주께서 나와 다투시는지 내게 보여 주소서.
3. [Is it] good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, that thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked?
주께서 학대하시는 것과 주의 손으로 지으신 것을 멸시하시는 것과 사악한 자의 계략 위에 빛을 비추어 주시는 것이 주께 선한 일이니이까?
4. Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth?
주께서 육신의 눈을 가지셨나이까? 주께서 사람이 보는 것처럼 보시나이까?
5. [Are] thy days as the days of man? [are] thy years as mans days,
주의 날들이 사람의 날들과 같나이까? 주의 연수들이 사람의 날들과 같으므로
6. That thou enquirest after mine iniquity, and searchest after my sin?
주께서 내 불법을 조사하시고 내 죄를 찾아내시나이까?
7. Thou knowest that I am not wicked; and [there is] none that can deliver out of thine hand.
주께서는 내가 사악하지 아니한 줄 아시나이다. 주의 손에서 건져 낼 자가 아무도 없나이다.
8. Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
주께서 주의 손으로 나를 만드시고 사방으로 내 전체를 빚으셨으되 이제는 나를 멸하시나이다.
9. Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
간청하오니 기억하옵소서. 주께서 나를 진흙처럼 만드셨거늘 다시 흙으로 데려가려 하시나이까?
10. Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese?
주께서 나를 젖같이 쏟으셨으며 치즈처럼 엉기게 하지 아니하셨나이까?
11. Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.
주께서 나를 살갗과 살로 입히시고 뼈와 힘줄로 내게 울타리를 치셨으며
12. Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.
생명과 은총을 내게 베푸시고 주의 돌보심으로 내 영을 보존하셨나이다.
13. And these [things] hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this [is] with thee.
주께서 이것들을 주의 마음속에 숨기셨사온즉 이 일이 주께 있는 줄 내가 아나이다.
14. If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.
내가 죄를 지으면 주께서 나를 주목하시고 내 불법을 사면하지 아니하시리이다.
15. If I be wicked, woe unto me; and [if] I be righteous, [yet] will I not lift up my head. [I am] full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;
내가 사악하면 내게 화가 있을 것이오며 내가 의로울지라도 내 머리를 들지 아니하리이다. 나는 혼란으로 가득하오니 그런즉 주는 내 고난을 보소서.
16. For it increaseth. Thou huntest me as a fierce lion: and again thou shewest thyself marvellous upon me.
고난이 늘고 있나이다. 주께서 사나운 사자처럼 나를 사냥하시다가 주의 놀라우심을 내게 다시 보여 주시나이다.
17. Thou renewest thy witnesses against me, and increasest thine indignation upon me; changes and war [are] against me.
주께서 주의 증인들을 새로이 세우사 나를 치시며 나를 향하여 주의 격노를 더하시니 변화와 싸움이 나를 치나이다.
18. Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!
그런즉 어찌하여 주께서 나를 모태에서 나오게 하셨나이까? 오 내가 숨을 거두어 아무 눈에도 보이지 아니하였더라면 얼마나 좋았을까!
19. I should have been as though I had not been; I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.
내가 있지 아니한 것처럼 되었어야 마땅하며 모태에서 무덤으로 옮겨졌어야 마땅하였나이다.
20. [Are] not my days few? cease [then, and] let me alone, that I may take comfort a little,
내 날들은 그 수가 적지 아니하니이까? 그런즉 이제 그치시고 나를 내버려 두사 내가 잠시나마 위로를 얻게 하시되
21. Before I go [whence] I shall not return, [even] to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;
내가 돌아오지 못할 곳 즉 어둠과 사망의 그늘진 땅으로 가기 전에 그리하소서.
22. A land of darkness, as darkness [itself; and] of the shadow of death, without any order, and [where] the light [is] as darkness.
어둠의 땅은 어둠 그 자체와 같으며 사망의 그늘진 땅은 어떤 질서도 없고 빛도 어둠 같으니이다, 하니라.

[다번역성경찬송]
Job 11장
1. Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,
그때에 나아마 사람 소발이 응답하여 이르되,
2. Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
많은 말에 대해 대답이 없겠느냐? 말로 가득한 사람이 의롭게 되겠느냐?
3. Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
네 거짓말이 사람들을 잠잠하게 하겠느냐? 네가 조롱할 때에 너를 부끄럽게 할 사람이 아무도 없겠느냐?
4. For thou hast said, My doctrine [is] pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.
네가 말하기를, 내 가르침은 순수하고 나는 주의 눈에 깨끗하나이다, 하였도다.
5. But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;
그러나 원하건대 [하나님]께서 말씀하시고 자신의 입술을 여사 너를 치시며
6. And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that [they are] double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee [less] than thine iniquity [deserveth].
지혜의 은밀한 것들을 네게 보여 주시되 그것들이 지금 있는 것의 두 배나 됨을 보여 주시기를 바라노라! 그런즉 [하나님]께서 너로부터 네 불법에 상응하는 것보다 적게 취하시는 줄 알지니라.
7. Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
네가 조사한다고 [하나님]을 찾아낼 수 있겠느냐? 네가 [전능자]를 완전히 찾아낼 수 있겠느냐?
8. [It is] as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?
그것은 하늘만큼이나 높으니 네가 무엇을 하겠느냐? 또 지옥보다도 깊으니 네가 무엇을 알겠느냐?
9. The measure thereof [is] longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
그것의 한계가 땅보다 길고 바다보다 넓으니라.
10. If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
그분께서 끊으시고 가두시며 함께 모으시면 누가 능히 그분을 막겠느냐?
11. For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider [it]?
그분께서 허망한 사람들을 아시고 사악함도 보시나니 그런즉 그분께서 그것을 깊이 생각하지 아니하시겠느냐?
12. For vain man would be wise, though man be born [like] a wild asss colt.
사람이 들나귀 새끼같이 태어날지라도 허망한 사람은 지혜롭게 되고자 하느니라.
13. If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;
만일 네가 네 마음을 예비하고 그분을 향하여 네 손을 내밀 때에
14. If iniquity [be] in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
네 손에 불법이 있거든 그것을 멀리 버려서 사악함이 네 장막들 안에 거하지 못하게 하라.
15. For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:
그리하면 네가 흠 없이 네 얼굴을 들리라. 참으로 네가 굳건하여 두려워하지 아니하리니
16. Because thou shalt forget [thy] misery, [and] remember [it] as waters [that] pass away:
이는 네가 네 고통을 잊고 그것을 흘러가는 물로 기억할 것이기 때문이라.
17. And [thine] age shall be clearer than the noonday; thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.
또 네 일생이 대낮보다 더 밝으리니 네가 빛을 발하여 아침같이 되고
18. And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig [about thee, and] thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
또 소망이 있으므로 네가 안전하며 참으로 네 주위를 파고 안전히 안식하리로다.
19. Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make [thee] afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.
또한 네가 누워도 너를 두렵게 할 자가 없겠고 참으로 많은 사람이 네게 간청하리라.
20. But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope [shall be as] the giving up of the ghost.
그러나 사악한 자들의 눈은 쇠하여 그들이 도망하지 못하리니 그들의 소망은 숨을 거두는 것과 같으리라, 하니라.

[다번역성경찬송]
Job 12장
1. And Job answered and said,
이에 욥이 응답하여 이르되,
2. No doubt but ye [are] the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
틀림없이 너희만 사람이로구나. 지혜가 너희와 함께 죽으리로다.
3. But I have understanding as well as you; I [am] not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
그러나 나도 너희만큼이나 명철하며 너희보다 못하지 아니하니 참으로 이와 같은 일들을 누가 알지 못하느냐?
4. I am [as] one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright [man is] laughed to scorn.
내가 [하나님]을 부르매 그분께서 내게 대답하시나니 이런 내가 자기 이웃에게 조롱을 당하는 자처럼 되었도다. 곧바른 의인이 비웃음을 받아 조롱을 당하는도다.
5. He that is ready to slip with [his] feet [is as] a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
자기 발로 인해 미끄러질 자가 편안히 거하는 자의 생각 속에서 멸시받는 등불같이 되었도다.
6. The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth [abundantly].
강도들의 장막들은 형통하고 [하나님]을 격노하게 하는 자들은 안전하니 [하나님]께서 그들의 손에 풍성히 가져다주시는도다.
7. But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
그러나 이제 짐승들에게 물어보라. 그것들이 너를 가르치리라. 공중의 날짐승들에게 물어보라. 그것들이 네게 일러 주리라.
8. Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
혹은 땅에게 말하라. 땅이 너를 가르치리라. 바다의 물고기들도 네게 밝히 알려 주리라.
9. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?
이 모든 것들을 통해 {주}의 손이 이 일을 이루신 줄을 누가 알지 못하느냐?
10. In whose hand [is] the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
모든 생물의 혼과 모든 인간의 호흡이 그분의 손에 있느니라.
11. Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?
귀가 말들을 시험하지 아니하느냐? 입이 음식을 맛보지 아니하느냐?
12. With the ancient [is] wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
늙은 자에게는 지혜가 있고 많은 날을 산 자에게는 명철이 있느니라.
13. With him [is] wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.
지혜와 힘이 그분께 있고 계략과 명철도 그분께 있나니
14. Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.
보라, 그분께서 허무시면 다시 세울 수 없고 그분께서 사람을 가두시면 열 수 없느니라.
15. Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
보라, 그분께서 물들을 막으시면 물들이 마르고 또한 그분께서 물들을 보내시면 물들이 땅을 뒤엎느니라.
16. With him [is] strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver [are] his.
힘과 지혜가 그분께 있고 속는 자와 속이는 자가 그분께 속하였으므로
17. He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
그분께서 조언자들을 노략하사 끌어가시고 재판관들을 어리석은 자가 되게 하시며
18. He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.
왕들의 결박을 푸시고 띠로 그들의 허리를 동이시며
19. He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.
통치자들을 노략하사 끌어가시고 강력한 자들을 넘어뜨리시며
20. He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.
믿을 만한 자들의 말을 제거하시고 늙은 자들의 명철을 빼앗으시며
21. He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.
통치자들에게 멸시를 쏟으시고 강력한 자들의 힘을 약하게 하시며
22. He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
어둠 속에서 깊은 것들을 찾아내시고 사망의 그늘을 빛으로 끌어내시며
23. He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them [again].
민족들을 흥하게도 하시고 망하게도 하시며 민족들을 크게도 하시고 다시 작게도 하시며
24. He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness [where there is] no way.
땅에 있는 만백성의 우두머리들의 마음을 빼앗으시고 그들을 길 없는 광야에서 방황하게 하시며
25. They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like [a] drunken [man].
빛이 없는 어둠 속에서 더듬게 하시고 술 취한 사람같이 비틀거리게 하시느니라.

Job 13장
1. Lo, mine eye hath seen all [this], mine ear hath heard and understood it.
보라, 내 눈이 이 모든 것을 보았고 내 귀가 그것을 듣고 깨달았느니라.
2. What ye know, [the same] do I know also: I [am] not inferior unto you.
너희가 아는 것을 나도 아노니 내가 너희보다 못하지 아니하니라.
3. Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
참으로 나는 [전능자]에게 아뢰고자 하며 [하나님]과 변론하기를 원하노라.
4. But ye [are] forgers of lies, ye [are] all physicians of no value.
그러나 너희는 거짓말을 지어내는 자요, 다 쓸모없는 의사들이니라.
5. O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.
오 참으로 너희가 모두 잠잠하면 얼마나 좋으리요! 그것이 너희의 지혜일 것이니라.
6. Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.
이제 내 변론을 들으며 내 입술의 항변을 들어 보라.
7. Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
너희가 [하나님]을 위하여 사악한 말을 하려느냐? 그분을 위하여 속이는 말을 하려느냐?
8. Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
너희가 그분을 외모로 취하려 하느냐? 너희가 [하나님]을 위하여 논쟁하려 하느냐?
9. Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye [so] mock him?
그분께서 너희를 조사하시면 좋겠느냐? 혹은 한 사람이 다른 사람을 조롱하듯 너희가 그분을 조롱하느냐?
10. He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
만일 너희가 은밀히 사람들을 외모로 취할진대 그분께서 반드시 너희를 책망하시리니
11. Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?
그분의 뛰어나심이 너희를 두렵게 하지 아니하겠느냐? 그분의 두려우심이 너희 위에 임하지 아니하겠느냐?
12. Your remembrances [are] like unto ashes, your bodies to bodies of clay.
너희의 기억들은 재와 같고 너희 몸은 진흙 몸과 같으니라.
13. Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what [will].
잠잠하고 나를 내버려 두어 내가 말하게 하라. 무슨 일이 닥치든지 내가 당하리라.
14. Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?
어찌하여 내가 내 살을 내 이로 물고 내 생명을 내 손에 두겠느냐?
15. Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
그분께서 나를 죽이실지라도 나는 그분을 신뢰할 것이요, 오직 나는 그분 앞에서 내 자신의 길들을 유지하리라.
16. He also [shall be] my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
그분께서 또한 나의 구원이 되시리니 위선자는 그분 앞에 나오지 못하리라.
17. Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears.
내 말을 부지런히 들으며 내가 선포하는 것을 귀로 들으라.
18. Behold now, I have ordered [my] cause; I know that I shall be justified.
이제 보라, 내가 내 사정을 정리하여 제시하였은즉 내가 의롭게 될 줄 아노라.
19. Who [is] he [that] will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
나와 변론할 자가 누구냐? 이제 내가 잠잠하면 숨을 거두리라.
20. Only do not two [things] unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.
오직 내게 두 가지만을 행하지 마옵소서. 그리하시면 내가 주를 피하여 숨지 아니하오리니
21. Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.
주의 손을 내게서 멀리 거두시옵소서. 또 주의 두려우심으로 나를 무섭게 하지 마시옵소서.
22. Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.
그리하시고 주께서 부르소서. 내가 응답하리이다. 아니면 내가 말하게 하시고 주께서는 내게 응답하옵소서.
23. How many [are] mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.
내 불법과 죄가 얼마나 많으니이까? 나로 하여금 내 범죄와 내 죄를 알게 하옵소서.
24. Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy?
어찌하여 주께서 주의 얼굴을 숨기시고 나를 주의 원수로 여기시나이까?
25. Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?
주께서 이리저리 흩날리는 낙엽을 부수려 하시나이까? 마른 지푸라기를 뒤쫓으려 하시나이까?
26. For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.
주께서 나를 대적하사 괴로운 일들을 기록하시고 또 나로 하여금 내 젊을 때의 불법들을 소유하게 하시나이다.
27. Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet.
또한 주께서 내 발을 차꼬에 채우시고 내 모든 행로를 면밀히 살피사 내 발뒤꿈치에 자국을 남기시니
28. And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten.
그런즉 그가 썩은 물건처럼 또 좀 먹은 옷처럼 소멸되나이다.
